The People have spoken and LA County residents have approved Measure J to address some of the harmful impacts of racial injustice by directing 10% of the County’s unrestricted general funds towards community investment and alternatives to incarceration.

So, New Fund for Children and Youth dedicated their last general meeting of the year for a back and forth between Michelle Burton of Social Change Institute at Community Health Councils and Julio Marcial of Liberty Hill Foundation about what communities can expect of this historic win.
