2023
Policy
Priorities
Every year, Rising Communities (RISING) identifies the policy priorities that align with its mission. In 2023 RISING will continue focusing on policy and systems change in the areas of health equity, reparations, and economic resiliency. Historically, RISING has been at the forefront of policy and systems change that improve the well-being of our communities and eliminate health disparities. Our work is wide-ranging covering healthcare, community and economic resiliency, and environmental justice, but always with a health and racial equity lens.
