ALUMNI
Over 1000 alumni in our network comprising of interns, youth participants, and more.
CERTIFICATES
In partnership with Pacific Oaks College, Learning for Equity has awarded over 400 certificates to participants.
STIPENDS
Since inception, Learning for Equity has awarded over $200,000 in stipends awarded to participants ranging from $500-$2000.
ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY
Learning for Equity has also supported the development of Rising Communities staff capacity through training and development.

Pursue Your Entrepreneurial Spirit Course in Partnership with Pacific Oaks College
- 96% of participants found the insights and advice offered useful for turning their entrepreneurial aspirations into tangible business plans
- 13 Community Health Workers completed the program and 24 total participants were awarded certificates
The Prevention, Equity, Accountability, Resilience, and Reparations Program (P.E.A.R.R.)
- Double the amount of students feel extremely confident in their Public Speaking, ability after completing the program.
- The percentage of students who feel extremely knowledgeable about the strategies needed to be an effective peer leader after completing the program quadrupled.
Pursue Your Entrepreneurial Spirit Course in Partnership with Pacific Oaks College
- 100% of participants agreed the course encouraged them to critically evaluate their own strengths, resources, and goals to inform their entrepreneurial journey.
Empathy, Empowerment, and Self-Care: Enhancing Support in South LA
- 133 South LA Providers were engaged on the November 3rd 2023 workshop
- There was a 50% increase in understanding of empathy as an intervention method
