Monthly Child Tax Credit Payments are now available for families with children!

Did you know the American Rescue Plan expanded the Child Tax Credit to help millions of families with children 0-17 years of age? The Child Tax Credit in the American Rescue Plan provides important financial relief to families. Eligible families with children under 6 can receive $3,600 per child and children ages 6-17 can receive $3,000 per child. As of July 15th, most families are automatically receiving advance monthly payments of $250 or $300 per child without having to take any action.
We can help families in our community become aware of the expanded Child Tax Credit by sharing the resources below with them.
And even If a family is not receiving the automatic Advance Child Tax Credit payment, they can still claim the full child tax credit of up to $3,600 per child by filing their taxes next year.
