Attention Best Start Region 2 Parents!
Join CADRE on Tuesday, August 24th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm for their annual Parent Assembly, to learn more about their Empowerment Educational Academy. At the Assembly, parents will learn about CADRE’s Empowerment Educational Academy, and how parents monitor school policies to ensure all children are rightfully educated. Parents attending will also engage in a mini 500 years Political Education meeting, and learn how CADRE parents are fighting systemic racism.
- The Assembly is an introduction to CADRE and their school year-long, twice a month Empowerment Educational Academy (EEA)
- Parents will hear how CADRE parents leaders use tools from EEA to help parents plan for the 2021-2022 school year.
- Parents will learn how CADRE parents monitor schools for the implementation of school policies.
- And, they will discuss what systems of oppression and how political education helps us learn from the past with other parents.
