Community Health Councils – Annual Fund

Supporting CHC this year will help us to:

–Work through CKF & LA Access coalitions to support and promote efforts that protect and expand health coverage options at the federal, state and county level

–Advance innovative policy recommendations and strategies to strengthen the safety-net healthcare workforce pipeline such as preparing young people to enter the healthcare field and lifting up the work of Community Health Workers.

–Continue implementation and evaluation of the Health Kids Zone pilot (including assessment, community engagement, and policy prioritization)

–Launch a collaborative hub in SLA to serve as an economic engine and supplier of fresh foods
